Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Tradewind PCBA collects when you use tradewindpcba.com or send us a quote request, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Who we are
Tradewind PCBA is a printed circuit board assembly manufacturer at Amata City Rayong Industrial Zone, Nikhom Phatthana, Rayong 21180, Thailand. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us about privacy at sales@tradewindpcba.com.
What we collect
- Quote requests. Your name, work email, company, and anything else you choose to enter: country, phone or WhatsApp number, project stage, quantity, services needed, project details and whether you want an NDA first.
- Technical details sent with a request. The page you submitted from, campaign tags and ad click identifiers in the link you followed (such as UTM parameters or a Google click ID), your IP address and your browser type. We use these to understand which pages bring inquiries and to filter spam.
- Emails and files. Messages you send us and design files such as Gerber, BOM, centroid files, drawings and test specifications.
- Hosting data. Our hosting provider processes IP addresses and request information to deliver this website and protect it against attacks.
This website does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If we add them, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
How we use it
- To reply to your request, review your design, and prepare DFM feedback and quotes.
- To plan, build, test and ship your order if you place one, and to support you afterwards.
- To follow up on the request you made. We do not add you to marketing newsletters without your consent.
- To keep business records, prevent spam and fraud, and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Your design files
We treat design files as confidential. We use them only to evaluate, quote, build and support your product, and share them only with people and suppliers who need them for that work, such as a board fabricator. We will sign an NDA on request before you send files.
Legal bases
Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation or Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act applies, we rely on: steps you ask us to take before entering a contract, such as quoting; our legitimate interest in answering business inquiries and keeping this website secure; compliance with legal obligations; and your consent where we ask for it.
Who we share it with
We use service providers that process information on our behalf and only as we instruct:
- Cloudflare, for website hosting, the database that stores quote requests, and email routing.
- Google, for the spreadsheet our sales team uses to track requests.
- Lark (Feishu), for internal notifications when a new request arrives.
- Our customer relationship management system, for managing quotes and orders.
We may also share information with professional advisers, with logistics and component partners when needed to fulfil an order, and with authorities when the law requires it.
International transfers
Our team works in Thailand, and our service providers may process information in other countries, including the United States, Singapore and China. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Quote requests that do not lead to an order: up to 3 years after our last contact, then deleted.
- Customer and order records: for the length of the business relationship and as long as tax, accounting and product-liability rules require afterwards.
- Design files: until the project ends, or longer if needed for repeat orders or warranty support. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Security
This website is served over HTTPS, and access to quote requests and design files is limited to staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please email us if you need a different way to send sensitive files.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to or restrict how we use it, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent you have given. Email sales@tradewindpcba.com and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to your local data protection authority, such as an EU supervisory authority, the UK Information Commissioner's Office or Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee.
Children
This website is for businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top.
